Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground chuck
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 small
    can mushrooms
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 14 oz
    can beef broth, i use swanson's
  • 2 c
    egg noodles, uncooked
  • 1 c
    sour cream

How to Make Beef Stroganoff

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown meat; add onion and cook until onion is tender. Add flour and stir into meat. Add spices, broth and mushrooms.
  2. Simmer on medium to high heat. Add sour cream. Stir until well blended and heated through.
  3. Mix with cooked egg noodles.
