Economical and easy to make! Good to take for pot lucks - just add a little more liquid.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 14 ounces can beef broth, i use swanson's
  • 2 cups egg noodles, uncooked
  • 1 cup sour cream

How To Make beef stroganoff

  • Step 1
    Brown meat; add onion and cook until onion is tender. Add flour and stir into meat. Add spices, broth and mushrooms.
  • Step 2
    Simmer on medium to high heat. Add sour cream. Stir until well blended and heated through.
  • Step 3
    Mix with cooked egg noodles.
