Ingredients
- 600 grams cubed stewing steak
- 375 milliliters belgian beer
- 1 red onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 carrots
- generous tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- salt
- pepper
How To Make beef stew

Step 1Marinate the cubed steak overnight in the Belgian beer

Step 2The following day, drain the meat and reserve the beer. Brown the meat in the pressure cooker.

Step 3Meanwhile, chop the onion, garlic and carrots and then add them to the browned meat. Stir well. Add the Dijon, bay leaf, thyme, salt and pepper. Add the reserved beer.

Step 4Lid on and bring up to high pressure and cook for 20 minutes. Release the pressure naturally.

Step 5When pressure has been released, remove the lid and allow to simmer whilst cooking the potatoes or rice.
