green or red peppers, sliced

sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 Tbsp
chili powder

salt

paprika
1/2 tsp
cumin
1/2 Tbsp
ground oregano
1 Tbsp
lime juice
1 Tbsp
jalapeno pepper, pickled and minced

4 cheese shredded cheese or cotija cheese if you can get it
1 pkg
cherry tomatoes, cut in half
1 pkg
sour cream

How to Make Beef Fajitas

Step-by-Step

  • 1Toppings for fajitas are a personal choice.
  • 2Suggestions: Salsa, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, guacamole, sour cream, shredded lettuce.
  • 3Variations: for chicken fajitas, omit beef and use 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips.
  • 4Saute for 3 to 5 minutes or until no longer pink.
  • 5Directions: Wrap stacked tortillas in foil.
  • 6Bake at 350 for 5 minutes or until warm.
  • 7In large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium-high heat.
  • 8Cook and stir garlic, onion and sweet pepper for 3 to 5 minutes or until tender.
