beef essentials: oven-baked brisket & onions
This is simple comfort food that is easy to assemble, and uses a minimum of ingredients. What comes out of that oven is pure brisket heaven. I experimented with all kinds of spices and seasonings, and finally settled on two basic spices: Salt & Pepper… that’s it. I also wanted something that would flavor the brisket, and stand up to the long cooking time, and I decided on sliced yellow onions, and some garlic. Simple ingredients… Lip Smacking goodness. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.
