beef broccli beans and rice special

I have the natural ability to make a meal using what I have on had in the pantry and fridge. I know what works and what doesn't work good together, so, here is a Tasty hearty "Stick to your ribs" meal that I threw together.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 large yellow onion
  • 2-3 medium carrots- chopped
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup,not deluted
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese-divided
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups rice-cooked. any kind
  • - a hadful of broccoli flowerettes
  • - handful of cooked broccoli flowrettes

How To Make beef broccli beans and rice special

  • Step 1
    Start cooking your Rice. I used Jasmine. Set aside. In a skillet add 2-3 T of canola oil. Brown ground Beef. Add in Carrots ,broccoli, and onion and garlic until ground beef is no longer pink and carrots are tender.
  • Step 2
    In a bowl combined 1 cup Cheese , cream soup and broth. Add Black Beans and cheese mixture at this point. Thoroughly Combined. It should be sticky.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle top with 1 c. sharp cheddar. Cover with lid until cheese is melted.
  • Step 4
    Serve & Enjoy!
