- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 can (16 oz.) pork and beans
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce, any brand you like
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 pound velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 can (8 oz.) refrigerated biscuits
- 6 slices velveeta cheese
How To Make beef & bean barbecue bake
-
Step 1In a skillet, brown the beef and onion; drain. Add pork and beans, barbecue sauce, and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in Velveeta cubes and mix well.
-
Step 2Turn mixture into a lightly greased baking dish.
-
Step 3Cut the biscuits in half, forming half-moons. Place, cut side down, around the edge of casserole. Do not press down too much, or they will be doughy.
-
Step 4Bake in a preheated 375-degree oven for 20 minutes. Top with additional Velveeta slices; return to oven until Velveeta melts.
