beef, bacon, & bean dinner
(1 RATING)
This is my youngest daughter's absolute favorite baked bean casserole. It is a really good recipe and ever so easy to make. I use Vegetarian Baked Beans and Turkey Strips instead of pork and beans or pork bacon so it is healthier for you.

How To Make beef, bacon, & bean dinner
-
Step 1Saute beef lightly, draining excess fat away. Add beans, salt & pepper, and drained tomatoes.
-
Step 2Spread half of beef mixture in bottom of 2 quart casserole dish. Cover with sliced onions, then add remainder of beef mixture.
-
Step 3Arrange turkey bacon slices over the top and sprinkle a thin layer of brown sugar over all. Bake at 350 degrees covered for 45 minutes. Then uncover and continue baking for 15 more minutes. (1 hour total baking time)
-
Step 4Note: I use Oscar Mayer Turkey® Bacon because to me it tastes better than any other brand out there. But if you prefer another brand use it.
