This is not only good but economical, being made from chuck steak.. When I was a young bride this was the only steak we could afford to buy and BBQ.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    catsup
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    worestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 3 lb
    boneless chuck steak

How to Make BBQ'd Sweet N' Sour Steaks

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all ingredients except steak, mix together. Place in glass bowl or plastic bag. Add steak, turning to coat with marinade. Chill 24 hours turning occasionally. Remove steak from marinade. Cook over hot coals to desired doneness. Brush occasionaly with mainade while cooking.
