Put roast in slow cooker and pour can of cola over the roast. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours, switch to low and cook another 5 hours.
When roast is fully cooked, cool and shred beef. Skim fat off of top of cola still in cooker. If there was a lot of fat, I found it easier to drain all liquid and add another can of cola.
When roast is shredded place back in the cooker, with cola, and then mix the rest of the ingredients with the beef, and continue on low until rewarmed in the cooker this also gives the flavors time to blend together (about 1 hour).
My family and I have agreed that this was even better the second day. Enjoy!!
