Ingredients
- 3 1/2 pounds beef short ribs
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 - lemon, sliced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon dried whole thyme
How To Make barbecued short ribs

Step 1Place short ribs in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 450° for 20 minutes; drain. Return ribs to the baking pan.

Step 2Combine ketchup and remaining ingredients in a small bowl; stir well. Pour the sauce over the ribs. Reduce heat to 350°, and bake for 1 1/2 hours or until the ribs are tender, basting occasionally with the sauce.

Step 3Place any remaining sauce in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 3 minutes. Serve ribs with sauce.
