We love barbecued beef .This is good on the grill or oven.Has the best flavors.

Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 pounds rump or blade roast
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups barbecue sauce

How To Make barbecued beef

  • Step 1
    Trim excess fat from roast, if needed .Combine seasonings and rub onto both sides of meat. Wrap in plastic or put in food storage bag; refrigerate 24 hours.
  • Step 2
    Cook meat in a covered barbecue grill over low coals,turning to cook evenly until done, about 2 hours.Meat may be cooked in oven at 325 if desired .Let meat rest for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with warm barbecue sauce may be served on a bun.
