This was a quick put together for unexpected guests this summer. They were a hit.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 10 ounces can tomato condensed soup
  • 1 package taco mix
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 - flat bottom taco shells
  • GARNISHES:
  • - 1/2 head lettuce,shredded
  • - 1 large tomato, chopped
  • - sour cream
  • - avocado slices

How To Make baked tacos

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375^. In a large skillet, brown meat, onion, and garlic until meat is no longer pink, about 8 minutes; drain. Stir in undiluted soup and taco mix packet; heat through. Spoon mixture into standing taco shells in baking pan, and top with cheese. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve with garnishes.
