Ingredients For asian-marinated flank steak skewers

1 1/4 lbflank steak, cut on the diagonal into thin strips

6green onions, finely chopped

1/2 crice vinegar
-
1/4 ctamari (or reduced sodium soy sauce)

1/4 choney
-
2 Tbspsugar
-
1 Tbspfresh ginger, peeled and grated

2 tspfish sauce
-
1 tspchili paste
-
2 clovegarlic, minced
How To Make asian-marinated flank steak skewers

1Thread steak onto metal skewers and lay them in a large baking dish -- large enough to fit.

2Combine green onions through garlic in a small bowl and mix well. Pour marinade over skewers and cover with plastic wrap - refrigerate a minimum of 2 hours. When ready, pour off marinade into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook until sauce has thickened and syrupy - approx. 15 minutes.

3Preheat oven to broil and place skewers on a broiler rack - approximately 4 inches from heat. Turn skewers frequently until meat is browned on all sides - approx. 8 minutes.

4Remove skewers and place on a platter. Drizzle with thickened sauce.
