Great flavor and quick to make. Cook time does not reflect time needed to marinate meat.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 pounds flank steak, cut on the diagonal into thin strips
- 6 green onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup tamari (or reduced sodium soy sauce)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 2 teaspoons fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili paste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
How To Make asian-marinated flank steak skewers
-
Step 1Thread steak onto metal skewers and lay them in a large baking dish -- large enough to fit.
-
Step 2Combine green onions through garlic in a small bowl and mix well. Pour marinade over skewers and cover with plastic wrap - refrigerate a minimum of 2 hours. When ready, pour off marinade into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook until sauce has thickened and syrupy - approx. 15 minutes.
-
Step 3Preheat oven to broil and place skewers on a broiler rack - approximately 4 inches from heat. Turn skewers frequently until meat is browned on all sides - approx. 8 minutes.
-
Step 4Remove skewers and place on a platter. Drizzle with thickened sauce.
