2 largeonions, sliced

4 Tbspolive oil

1 Tbspmixed dried herbs (thyme, rosemary, marjoram)

2 tsppaprika

2 largecarrots, diced

4 mediumpotatoes, peeled and diced

1 can(s)peeled tomatoes

1 tspgarlic powder

1/2 bottledry red wine
-
·salt and pepper to taste
How to Make ALTMODISCHER DEUTSCHER GULASCH
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add beef and cook until brown.
- Add the onion and cook until transparent.
- Add carrots, potatoes, herbs and paprika and stir for a few minutes until thoroughly combined.
- Add red wine, tomatoes and the spices, including salt and pepper, and simmer, covered, for 2 to 3 hours. Add water if necessary.
- Serve with dumplings, noodles or rice.
