How to Make Chinese Style Fried Rice


  1. Bring 1 cup of the water to a boil in a saucepan. Stir in rice and remove from heat. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Cook egg in butter in a 10" skillet until set. Add onion and the rice and cook and stir over medium heat until rice and onions are slightly browned..about 5 minutes.
  3. Combine remaining water and soy sauce. Stir into rice. Mix well and serve.
