- - 1/2 cup rolled oats
- - 1 banana, broken into chunks
- - 14 frozen strawberries
- - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- - 1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar
How To Make strawberry oatmeal breakfast smoothie
-
Step 1In a blender, combine soy milk, oats, banana and strawberries. Add vanilla and sugar if desired. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
-
Step 2*** I just purchased some strawberries and this recipe will be perfect for me to use them. I never tried soy milk so I may use vanilla almond milk in place of the soy milk. I think I will also add a touch of cinnamon to the recipe too. I have steel cut oatmeal on hand and may use that in the recipe too.
