If you regularly make protein shakes, try this combination. It tastes just like pumpkin pie!
If you are not used to protein shakes, they make an excellent breakfast-on-the-go. You can get flavored protein powders in most grocery stores, in the natural foods section.

Ingredients

  • 8-10 oz
    milk, soy milk, or almond milk
  • 1
    serving (scoop) vanilla flavored protein powder
  • 1/4 c
    canned or pureed pumpkin
  • 1/4 tsp
    pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp
    maple syrup (optional)
  • 3
    ice cubes

How to Make Pumpkin Pie Protein Shake

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender, and process until smooth.
  2. Not into protein powders? Make this a sweet treat by substituting 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream for the protein powder and ice cubes.
