Pineapple Strawberry Morning Smoothie

This is a wonderful morning smoothie. Fresh pineapple is wonderful, but I use canned and am able to use the juice as well to make this drink that is not a blast of sugar, but will give you that boost you need in the morning.

  • 1 c
    frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 c
    canned pineapple chunks (reserve juice)
  • 3/4 c
    milk, low-fat
  • 1/2 medium
    banana, in chunks
  • 3/4 c
    reserved pineapple juice
  • 1/2 c
    plain non fat yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 pkg
    splenda or 1/2 tsp honey
  • 6
    ice cubes
  • 1 tsp
    wheat germ

How to Make Pineapple Strawberry Morning Smoothie


  1. Blend the strawberries, banana, milk, pineapple juice, vanilla yogurt, extract, splenda or honey and wheat germ in a blender until smooth. Add 1 or two ice cubes and pulse in between to break up.
