For those who Love Peanut Butter and need extra Protein in their diet. This might be a good alternative to "Ensure" for someone who can't seem to get enough nutrition from regular meals. (I am not a nutritionist, but think that elderly people in particular need more protein in their diets)

Ingredients

  • - 1/2 cup milk or soy milk or almond milk
  • - 1/2 cup silken tofu
  • - 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • - 2 bananas, frozen
  • - 2 tbls chocolate syrup
  • - 6 to 8 ice cubes

How To Make peanut butter smoothie with extra protein

  • Step 1
    Place ingredients in blender jar and blend until smooth. For fun, top it with some whipped cream and a drizzle of extra chocolate syrup.
  • Step 2
    If you want, you can use frozen bananas increase the milk and leave out some or all of the ice. It will be slightly darker in color but more concentrated flavor.
