great low calorie chocolate malted milk shake
This is a shake that my neighbor gave me and I tried it. What a great drink. The orginal recipe has 962 calories with 22 grams of fat. Her recipe has 126 calories with on 1 grams of fat. I'm liking this new diet of mine really well. Instead of making this shake in a blender she used a cocktail shaker instead and strained it into tall glass's. She told me that if you use a blender, don't blend it with ice, instead pour the mixture over ice and serve. I used our cocktail shaker to make ours. YUMMY!!!!! In the process of making a new cook book. Excited!!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 10 ounces skim milk
- 1 tablespoon malted milk powder, such as carnation (look for sugar free)
- 1/4 cup sugar free chocolate syrup
- - note: i found the sugar free at the grocer's in the organic section of the store.
How To Make great low calorie chocolate malted milk shake

Step 1In a large cocktail chaker, add the ice, milk, malt powder and chocolate syrup.

Step 2Shake until foamy and strain int a tall glass.

Step 3Serve immediately.

Step 4NOTE: If using your blender omit the ice, blend ingredients and pour over ice placed in a tall glass.
