This smoothy has a healthy dose of B vitamins, protein, potassium, and caffeine. It's not your typical energy drink where you get a fast burst of energy then crash, but instead you will feel a subtle boost that lasts for a longer period of time and what's even better is it is healthy for you!! Great for breakfast or at the mid point in the day when you start to lag.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 Tbsp
    carob chips - milled in coffee grinder
  • 3 Tbsp
    creamy peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    ground coffee (i used turkish coffee but any coffee will do)
  • 2 c
    blue diamond almond milk - plain, unsweetened
  • 1 medium
    banana
  • 1 c
    ice

How to Make Lasting Energy Smoothy

Step-by-Step

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender on high until well blended and creamy smooth. Enjoy immediately.
