Full of vitamins, proteins, fiber and other nutrients, this quick & easy beverage is a delicious recipe to enjoy in the morning!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons wheat germ, toasted and divided
  • 4 medium kiwifruits, peeled and quartered
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1 cup 2% plain yogurt (substitute vanilla yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop protein powder of your choice (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar or to taste

How To Make kiwi raspberry smoothie

  • Step 1
    In a small skillet over medium heat, toast wheat germ for about 2 ½ to 3 minutes. Remove from the heat to cool off.
  • Step 2
    In a jar of a blender, combine kiwifruits, raspberries, apple juice, yogurt, almond milk, protein powder, agave nectar and 1 ½ tbsp. toasted wheat germ; process until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Pour in glasses and sprinkle wheat germ on top. Makes 5 cups
