healthy apple pie smoothie

This morning I craved a smoothie. And my Dad had just bought some protein powder that he Swears "Tastes Like Vanilla Ice Cream!" And with my Last few apples, Made this! Inspired by a Dutch Apple Pie smoothie Recipe I seen on the Cooking Channel. This Smoothie will make you feel no guilt about drinking this for breakfast! Hope you all enjoy!!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granny smith apples (diced)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protien powder
  • 1 teaspoon chopped pecans
  • 1 dash vanilla extract
  • pinch freshly grated nutmeg
  • few dash cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup fat free or skim milk
  • 5 - ice cubes

How To Make healthy apple pie smoothie

  • Step 1
    Dice the Granny smith apples (Peel if desired)
  • Step 2
    Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blitz until smooth
  • Step 3
    Enjoy! :)
