gluten-free banana breakfast smoothie
One of my friends told me that he loves this drink in the morning. He tells me that this low-fat protein-packed smoothie is perfect for on the go and by adding the yogurt at the very end impacts a creamy texture. Woody and I tried it and it's really good.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup 1% low fat milk
- 1/2 cup chushed ice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg or cinnamon
- 1 - frozen sliced ripe large banana
- 1 cup plain 2% reduced fat greek yogurt

Step 1Combine first 5 ingredients in a blender and process for 2 minutes or until smooth.

Step 2Add yogurt and process just until blended and serve ammidiately.

Step 3NOTE:Instead of frozen banana you can substitute frozen strawberries with strawberry low fat yogurt, peach with low fat peach yogurt.
