My kids ask for these all the time and they are easy and fast to make in a blender.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh berries: (i use strawberries and blueberries)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 - banana
  • 1/2 cup lemonade or pink lemonade
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 cups crushed ice

How To Make fresh fruit basic smoothie

  • Step 1
    Take a Quart Ziploc bag and put the berries in the bag with the sugar. Set aside for 1/2 hour. Flip the bag once or twice during that time.
  • Step 2
    Cut up the banana into 1 inch pieces.
  • Step 3
    Get the blender out. Put the ice in first. Add 1/2 cup of the berries/sugar mix (put the rest in the fridge for another time or on top of pancakes). Add the remaining ingredients. Blend on high for about a minute. Serve in a tall glass with a straw!
