This fresh vegetable and fruit beverage is just what the doctor ordered for a midday pick-me-up. It is a deep shade of green but it is full of vitamins and minerals with no added sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 small apple, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks, fresh or unsweetened canned
  • 1 small cucumber, chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh kale, chopped
  • 1/2 cup watercress
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves, fresh
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 cups unsweetened juice of your choice

How To Make energizing juice smoothie

  • Step 1
    Place ingredients except unsweetened juice into a blender. Start blender on smoothie setting and gradually add juice until you get a consistency you like. Extra can be refrigerated for 3 days or frozen for up to a month.
