Blue'ana Peanut Butter Smoothie
1 mediumfresh banana, in chunks
1/2 cfrozen blueberries
1 clow fat milk
1 Tbspwheat germ (optional)
2 Tbsppeanut butter (low in sugar) or almond butter
1/2 cvanilla low fat yogurt, or non fat
How to Make Blue'ana Peanut Butter Smoothie
- Grind flax or wheat germ in blender/grinder to breakdown further if you wish. This helps with any bitterness from the flax if this bothers you.
- Place ice, banana, blueberries, milk, flax and/or wheat germ and pulse. Add remaining ingredients of peanut butter, honey and yogurt and blend. If you wish, you can add additional ice to this to make it cold.
