Barbara Oseland

Nice simple way to get in a good breakfast with few ingredients. While berries are on sale during peak times, why not stock up and freeze them for wonderful smoothies?

vanilla low fat yogurt, or non fat

How to Make Blue'ana Peanut Butter Smoothie

  1. Grind flax or wheat germ in blender/grinder to breakdown further if you wish. This helps with any bitterness from the flax if this bothers you.
  2. Place ice, banana, blueberries, milk, flax and/or wheat germ and pulse. Add remaining ingredients of peanut butter, honey and yogurt and blend. If you wish, you can add additional ice to this to make it cold.
