Ingredients

  • 2 - 1oz. squares bitter chocolate
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 - egg

How To Make hot chocolate, south of the border

  • Step 1
    Heat chocolate and milk together in top part of double boiler over hot water. Using electric beater, beat until frothy. Beat in sugar, spices and vanilla. Beat egg lightly with fork. Pour into hot chocolate. Beat with beater until all is frothy again. Serve at once. Serves up to 4.
