Cilantro is long prized for its ability to detox the body.

Cilantro is so effectual it can even rid the body of heavy metal poisoning from elements like mercury and lead.

I would recommend drinking this regularly, but monthly or quarterly is a great bare minimum regime.

Ingredients

  • 1 qt
    distilled water, tepid
  • 1
    handful of fresh cilantro
  • 1/2
    lemon, squeezed
  • 1 c
    diced fruit (i used mango this time)
  • 3 Tbsp
    honey (optional)

How to Make Cilantro Water with or w/o Fruit (Detox Beverage)

Step-by-Step

  1. Place all ingredients in a shatter-proof container. Give a vigorous stir to bruise the cilantro and/or fruit and to thoroughly incorporate the honey (local is best).
  2. Allow to set out until reaches room temperature. Then refrigerate overnight. Optionally, strain while serving.
