I created this colorful boozy shooter as part of a Signature Drink Challenge. My sister-in-law was my taste tester and my hubby named the drink. It's a real family affair. This is for all the tail waggers in my life... Isis, Summer, Mandy and Roland. It also tastes great when mixed with 6 oz milk for a slower tail wag.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons crushed raspberries
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1 ounce Bailey's espresso cream
  • 1 ounce Baja Rosa or Tequila Rose
  • 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier

How To Make tail wagger

  • Step 1
Combine crushed raspberries, sugar, and water to make a puree. Mix together until it breaks down to create a syrup. You may strain the puree if you prefer and set aside until needed.
  • Step 2
In a large shot glass, add 1/2 oz of the raspberry puree or the strained raspberry puree liquid, (your preference).
  • Step 3
Using a spoon, slowly pour the Espresso Baileys over the back of the spoon onto the raspberry mixture.
  • Step 4
Using the same spoon, slowly pour the Baja Rosa over the Bailey's Mixture. The Baja will sink to the bottom and the Baileys will rise.
  • Step 5
Pour the Grand Marnier over the Baja Rosa. Sit back and either sip your shooter or toss it back for a tail wag.
