A brilliant spring/summer refreshment!

Ingredients

  • 3 large rose petals
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons rosewater
  • 1 dash pink food coloring
  • 3 small green tea bags
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar

How To Make rose petal iced tea

  • Step 1
    Bring the 3 cups of water to a boil.
  • Step 2
    Add the rose petals and lemon juice then turn off the heat and allow it to sit for 8-10 hrs.
  • Step 3
    Strain the rosewater into a large jug.
  • Step 4
    Remove petals and discard.
  • Step 5
    Bring the 2 cups of water to a boil, remove from heat and place in the tea bags. Brew for 5 mins.
  • Step 6
    Remove the tea bags and add the granulated sugar to the tea. Stir.
  • Step 7
    Serve well chilled over ice!
