This is a raw juice recipe I found somewhere on the internet. It helps with RA pain and over all its healthy for you. I did add the watermelon rind to it because I think it thins out the thickens of the juice which make it easier to swallow plus watermelon rind has so many heath benefits. I have about 4-6 oz juice in the morning to start my day. http://voices.yahoo.com/the-incredible-health-benefits-eating-whole-3548305.html?cat=22

Ingredients

  • 1 large green apple
  • 5 stalks celery
  • 1/2 large cucumber
  • 1 bunch dandelion greens
  • 1 large carrot
  • 2-3 medium cut wedges of watermelon rind ( opt )

How To Make basic green juice

  • Step 1
I cut all hard ends off and save for a stock, you can also use the ends of what comes out of the juicer for a stock...you just have to boil, and strain it. I frist clean all with tap water and then soak in a large bowl of purified water for 10-15 mins and then juice it. Some use the pricey veggie wash ( hint you can you 3% hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle...just make sure your peroxide doesn't contain ANY stabilizers in it. This will highly oxygenize the veggies and helps remove toxins. This is a good method to use if you cant get organic. Health food store have Food grade Hydrogen Peroxide at 35% ...PLEASE look in to that because it is very concentrated and you have to dilute it with distilled water for use.

http://www.sonnewald.org/assets/pdf/literature/hydrogen-peroxide.pdf I drink about 4-6 oz in the morning and I put the rest in a mason jar in the ice box. It can last about 4-6 days. Or drink all at once.
