Very refreshing on a hot summer's day. The lemon-lime soda really brings out the flavor of the watermelon and the watermelon ice cubes are a nice treat too!

  • 4 lb
    seedless watermelon cut into cubes
  • 8
    ice cubes
  • 2 c
    lemon-lime soda, cold

How to Make Watermelon Soda with Watermelon Ice Cubes

Step-by-Step

  1. Place 1 pound of the watermelon cubes in the freezer until frozen. These will be your "ice cubes".
  2. Place half of the remaining watermelon cubes in blender or food processor with 4 of the ice cubes. Pulse until slushy. Slowly add 1 cup of the soda and pulse until combined.
  3. Place frozen watermelon cubes in 2 tall glasses. Pour the soda in the glasses. Repeat the process for the remaining two sodas. Enjoy!
