Vegetable juice is one way to use your fresh vegetables and don't forget the fresh fruit.

Ingredients

  • 8 quarts ripe tomatoes
  • 8 stalks celery
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • 3 small onions finely chopped
  • 1 - leek white part finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • - juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup carrots finely chopped
  • 1 cup green pepper finely chopped
  • - fresh ground black pepper to taste

How To Make vegetable juice by eddie

  • Step 1
    Wash tomatoes and cut into quarters. Finely chop celery and leaves, onions and leek.
  • Step 2
    Put tomatoes, onions, celery, parsley, lemon juice , carrot and green pepper into a non aluminum cooking pot.
  • Step 3
    Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes until vegetables are soft.
  • Step 4
    Put mixture through a sieve. Season with salt, allspice, Worcestershire sauce And pepper. Chill and serve .
