- - 1/4 cup tamarind paste,
- - 1 cup water, warm
- - 2 1/2 cups water, cold
- - 1/2 lime, juiced
- - 1/2 cup sugar, white (or to taste)
- - 1/4 tsp salt, fine
How To Make tamarind drink

Step 1Combine the tamarind paste with 1 cup of warm water, cover and let sit at room temperature for 1 - 2 hours.

Step 2Next you will want to strain the liquid; stirring until all liquid has been strained and seeds removed.

Step 3Into a pitcher, add the tamarind mixture, water, lime juice, white sugar and salt; stir well, taste, adjusting sugar if necessary and chill until ready to serve.

Step 4When ready to serve, add ice to glasses and enjoy.
