Tea is the wine of the south! Served with every meal. My mother used to make it by the gallon and we drank it all day long. Of course I had to be different, I don't like sugar in my tea. I think sugar messes up the tea flavor.

- 4 - family size tea bags
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup sugar
- - water
How To Make southern sweet tea

Step 1Bring 3 - 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the baking soda, then the tea bags.

Step 2Remove from heat and cover. Allow to steep for at least 15 minutes.

Step 3Add about 1 cup water to gallon jar. Then add sugar and stir until it is dissolved.

Step 4Fill the jar with cold water. Serve over ice.
