homemade v-8 juice

I love V-8 juice but it's too salty,I looked up some recipes online and tweaked this this one . It's a little spicy,if you don't like spicy,omit hot sauce and limit horseradish .

Ingredients

  • - 5 pounds fully ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • - 2 cups celery,chopped
  • - 3 large onions,chopped
  • - 3 cloves garlic,minced
  • - 2 tablespoons sugar
  • - salt,to taste
  • - 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • - 3 teaspoons prepared horseradish
  • - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • - 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • - 1 tablespoon liquid hot sauce

How To Make homemade v-8 juice

  • Step 1
    On medium high heat bring the vegetables to a boil and boil gently for about 20 minutes. In a blender add a portion at a time process until smooth. Strain and discard pulp. Add seasonings. Chill.
