I love V-8 juice but it's too salty,I looked up some recipes online and tweaked this this one . It's a little spicy,if you don't like spicy,omit hot sauce and limit horseradish .

    5 pounds fully ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • ·
    2 cups celery,chopped
  • ·
    3 large onions,chopped
  • ·
    3 cloves garlic,minced
  • ·
    2 tablespoons sugar
  • ·
    salt,to taste
  • ·
    3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • ·
    3 teaspoons prepared horseradish
  • ·
    1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ·
    2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • ·
    1 tablespoon liquid hot sauce

How to Make Homemade V-8 Juice

Step-by-Step

  1. On medium high heat bring the vegetables to a boil and boil gently for about 20 minutes. In a blender add a portion at a time process until smooth. Strain and discard pulp. Add seasonings. Chill.
