I love Eggnog this time of year, but I always wanted the taste without the calories. I was experimenting using vanilla "Slimfast" with the high protein and I think I finally got it. Now, this does not have the same texture or color, but it definitely is close in flavor!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces milk - can be whole milk, 2% milk, or skim milk
  • 1 - scoop of vanilla slimfast
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 - ice cubes
  • - rum flavor if desired
  • - ground nutmeg to taste
  • - ground cinnamon to taste

How To Make healthier-for-you "eggnog"

  • Step 1
    Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
  • Step 2
    Pour into glass and sprinkle some more ground nutmeg and cinnamon if you like. That's it! If you like, add rum flavor or brandy flavor.
