White tea is filled with more healing antioxidants than most other foods/drinks. It is much lower in caffeine than other teas, coffee, or sodas. Adding locally produced honey will also help diminish some allergies. The bonus: it is a great hot drink to warm your body and soul.

Ingredients

  • 8-12 ounces hot water
  • 1-2 - individual bags of white tea
  • 2 tablespoons clover honey (local if available)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

How To Make white tea (sallye)

  • Step 1
    Place water and tea bags in a microwave proof mug and heat on full power for 2 to 2-1/2 minutes. DO NOT ALLOW TO BOIL.
  • Step 2
    Remove from microwave and cover with paper towel or saucer. Allow to steep for 5 to 7 minutes
  • Step 3
    Remove tea bags and add honey and lemon juice. Stir well until honey is completely dissolved and ingredients are blended.
  • Step 4
    Enjoy
