This is a family recipe I enjoyed so much as a child. Many people use Tang and instant tea, and that's great in a pinch, buy this is so much better!

Keeps in the fridge about a week. To reheat, pour some in a mug and microwave. Or you can reheat slowly on the stove.

How to Make Russian Tea

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brew tea per instructions with cinnamon sticks and while cloves. Remove spices and tea bags.
  • 2Juice the oranges and lemons.
  • 3In a medium sauce pan, slowly heat the juice with the sugar, stirring constantly until it looks clear. Pour heated juice into hot tea and stir until blended.
