I've had this so long I don't remember where I got it. It's a great holiday hot punch.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh cranberries
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 3/4 - 1 cups sugar to taste
  • 9 - piece of cinnamon stick
  • 6 ounces can frozen orange juice
  • 3 ounces frozen lemonade (1/2 a can)
  • 4 - whole cloves
  • 6 cups brewed black tea
  • - orange peel from one large orange

How To Make hot cranberry punch

  • Step 1
    Combine water, juice, cranberries, cinnamon, cloves and orange peel. Bring to a boil, simmer 5 minutes. Strain and discard solids. Return to pot. Add tea, sugar, and frozen orange juice and lemonade concentrate. Cook and stir until sugar dissolves.
  • Step 2
    Serve in mugs with extra sticks of cinnamon and slices of oranges. Add a shot of Grand Marnier, cinnamon schnapps, or brandy if desired.
