This is the oldest hot chocolate I remember. I do use a mix more now, but this is from my 40's recipes.

Ingredients

  • 3 c
    boiling water
  • 1 c
    powdered milk
  • 3 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 5 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon, or 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 dash(es)
    salt

How to Make Hot Chocolate Baby Boomers Loved

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix everything, except water until well blended. Slowly pour water and stir until everything is blended and powdered milk is dissolved.
