- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped

Step 1Heat milk in a small saucepan set over medium heat. Once milk is hot (but not boiling), slowly whisk in chocolate until it's completely melted.

Step 2Adjust heat slightly so the mixture just boils, whisking constantly for 1 to 2 minutes.
