Drinking a cup of this apple cider is so very reminiscent of enjoying a real caramel apple at the county fair! Except, there's no sticky mess. It's a rich and delicious treat. We rimmed the glass with a little caramel and topped it with whipped cream. This is almost like a dessert and not something you'd have all the time. Perfect on a cool crisp evening. If you want to make this an alcoholic drink, add a shot of whisky or bourbon.

Ingredients For caramel apple cider
1/3 cfirmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cheavy whipping cream
1 tspvanilla extract
4 capple cider or apple juice
1 stickcinnamon stick

As this cider sits, it does separate. If that happens give it a good stir before serving.
1Stir together brown sugar and whipping cream in a large saucepan.
2Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat, until it starts to bubble.
3Stir in vanilla.
4Add apple cider. Cook 10 min, stirring often. Garnish if desired.
