My Grandpa had citrus orchards when I was a child. I LOVED grapefruits (Still do!!) Needless to say, I was always getting canker sores from the acid in the citrus fruit.
My Great-Grandma shared the cure with me and I used it often. It works better and faster than any purchased remedy! (Cheap, too!)

How to Make Canker Sore or Mouth Ulcer Remedy

Step-by-Step

  1. Put tea bag into cup, add boiling water.
  2. Allow tea to steep for 5 to 10 minutes. You want a really strong cup of tea. Do not remove the tea bag(I allow mine to cool so that it is easy to drink)
  3. Drink the tea slowly, swishing each drink around in your mouth before swallowing. (Try to reach all areas of your mouth. . .concentrating on the area with the canker sore or mouth ulcer.)
