  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar, dark
  • 1 dash(es)
    vanilla extract
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 c
    whole milk
  • 1 pinch
    freshly grated nutmeg

How to Make Browned Butter Coffee Creamer


  1. In a saucepan, put the entire stick of butter in the pan. Melt and cook on med-low until it browns and has a nutty scent.
  2. Mix in brown sugar and nutmeg. Cook while stirring until it loses the grainy appearance.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients, and cook covered on low for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain into a ceramic creamer, and use with hot coffee or refrigerate first for iced coffee.
