summer sangria
I just love summer and all the wonderful drinks we use to try and cool down. I hope you enjoy this really pretty, sangria, it's a family favorite, to which I add extra fruit. We enjoy the addition of pear and raspberries in this delicious White Summer Sangria.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup triple sec (or other orange liqueur)
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 2 bottles 750 ml chilled, dry, white wine
- 1 bottle 750 ml chilled club wine
- 1 cup cantaloupe ball, or chunks
- 1 cup honeydew melon, ball or chunks
- 1/2 cup thinly, sliced lemon
- 1/2 cup thinly, sliced lime
- 1/2 cup thinly, sliced oranges
- 1 cup small, strawberries, left whole, no leaves
- 1 - thinly sliced pear (optional)
- 1/2 cup fresh, raspberries (optional)
How To Make summer sangria

Step 1In a large chilled pitcher, combine the sugar, orange liqueur, brandy and white wine.

Step 2Cover and refrigerate for 2 1/2 - 3 hours.

Step 3When ready to serve slowly stir in club soda to taste.

Step 45. Add all the fruit and ice cubes and ENJOY.
