I was looking for a unique drink to go with taco night. While not strictly Latin in flavor, it was refreshing and thirst quenching. A great accompaniment to those spicy tacos!

How to Make Ginger Mint Tea Punch


  1. Steep the tea bags in the hot water for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the sugar and stir to dissolve. (You can add as much sugar as you like to taste).
  3. Pour into a pitcher and chill.
  4. Add ice to glasses. Pour about half full with tea. Fill the rest of the way with ginger ale. Stir. Garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices.
