Your festive beverage will be ready @ party time! Also, kid friendly (no alcohol). Made it for our gkids......Loved it!

Ingredients For spiced apple-cranberry cider (slow cooker)

  • 1/3 c
    brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 2 tsp
    whole allspice
  • 4 stick
    cinnamon (3-4 inch)
  • 1 bottle
    (48 ounce) apple cider=6 cups
  • 1 bottle
    (48 ounce) cranberry juice cocktail=6 cups

How To Make spiced apple-cranberry cider (slow cooker)

    Using a slow cooker that holds up to 5 quarts, mix all ingredients. Cover and cook on low 4-6 hours. Remove allspice and cinnamon prior to serving.

    NOTE: Put spices in cheesecloth, several layers of gauze, or a paper coffee filter. Tie with a piece of kitchen string. This makes the spices easy to remove from the hot cider.

    Serving suggestion: For a lovely flash of color in this ruby red drink, add fresh orange slices to slow cooker immediately prior to serving.
