South American - Limonada Frozen - Frozen Limeade
Limes are "limones" pronounced (lee-mone-ayes) in South America. This frozen limeade is very tart and refreshing.
Make the sugar syrup first to give it time to cool before adding to the juice and ice.
Try adding a little lime zest, and alcohol of your choice... for a more adult version.

- 1/2 c
- fresh lime juice
- 4 c
- crushed ice
How to Make South American - Limonada Frozen - Frozen Limeade
- 1Bring water and sugar to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- 2Remove from heat and cool.
- 3Mix sugar water, lime juice, and ice in a blender, and blend until well mixed and slushy.
- 4Serve immediately in tall glasses.
